The Destination jars are 3 wicks and they consist  of a set of 8 jars.  These ‘Destination’ candles are places around the world that we visit or are on our bucket lists. The other collections are foods jars and they just hit the shelves. If you would ask me, i always prefer the ones that smell so good you could lick them, but…you can’t.

So many new jars are out at this store that you cannot possible try to even collect them all. You would go broke, and nuts. Watch for good sales. Don’t buy them unless they are 50% off and do keep in mind that during the SAS sales you might just get yourself a bargain or more at 75% off. As always though, keep an eye on your jars and never leave them unattended. Most often it is ok, nonetheless, you may just get a defective candle like I did recently. My jar cracked at the top of the rim. It caught fire and burnt the sides of the jar scorching the label. In all the years that I have bought from BBW I have never experience an issue like this before. Thank goodness I was at home as it awakened me with the smell of the smoke. Listen, as a long time buyer of bath & body works, and even as a past employee years and years ago, having been through this minor ordeal, I reached out to our friends at Bath & Body Works and they immediately responded to me with questions regarding this issue.

Visit your local BBW today and pick up some of these awesome candle deals today!

Did you know that we service the military? Are you in the Army, Navy, Air Force or the Marines, if so, thank you for your dedication and services!

So many men and women in the military are stationed near from home and they miss their favorite goodies and treats. Savin Exporting can help! We offer a customized personal shopping speciality for you and it is as easy to do as snapping your fingers! Being away from home is difficult. You miss our favorite things. You miss the smell of our candles burning, or or shower gel smelling of cucumber melon, Happiness, Energy or to sooth you at night Lavender and vanilla pillow spray. You miss your body lotions and our fragrance mists. Some miss finding new books to read, or magazines to read. Some people would do anything to take a giant bite out of an Oreo cookie ad then dip it in a glass of milk.

Our business is to an extent tailor-made as you might say because we manifest goods from the USA and we ship global daily to over 70 countries around the globe. We welcome you to tell a friend and to send us a request. Our business caters to you, any time, any where as long as global shipping is provided to your neck of the woods. Let us allow you to feel closer to home with a box filled with your most missed products.

When it comes to buying products either for yourself or for someone else, you always want to find the best cost. Yes? Our job at Savin Exporting is to find the best deals for our clients. Nothing will make you or myself happier than saving money. At Savin Exporting we shop all over the web for clients worldwide that seek a variety of items some common, some unusual and very uncommon.

The worst mistake that anyway can make is to shop for a product and not know the product. Why? First because we don’t want you to give us the name of something and then we buy the wrong item. We prefer that you send photos if possible. Colors, scents, sizes and quantity are very pertinent when it comes to being someones personal shopper.

So what kind of items do clients around the globe ask for? Several. About 65% of my clientele has the niche for candles. Whether they are for themselves as collectors or to sell to others as a business, candles are a huge sale. There are a variety of brands that our clients ask us to shop for and we are ever so happy go go out on a limb and search them out. We prefer and or i should say that we would rather demur shopping online as it is easier and there is not travel time as I share mileage.

Knowing your product is key. Your knowledge is imperative as is know where to find that item at the lowest cost. I will share with my clients via social media; i.e. Instagram, FaceBook, Pinterest, any coupons or discounts available. My target is to save clients money so that they can buy more either than date or at a later date and they will thank you.

Knowing the difference with a box of cereal verse which is a gluten free box of cereal is decisive. Buying jewelry is also good to know. Does someone want 18 carat gold or silver gold? Same thing as with a candle. Some candles are paraffin wax, some are soy. Some let a lot of soot out with burns some none at all. These variables will do two  things; they will teach you more about the product(s) and you get better ideas of the cost as well as the clientele type that want to purchase. If you know your product, you got this. Its in the basket! At Savin Exporting we know the business.

As we now have approached the fall season, also my most favorite time of year, we go gaga for delicious fall scented candles, scent plugs, wallflowers, room sprays (which cannot be shipped abroad due to customs) and candles. There are many stores to choose from to shop for your favorite autumn goods. I highly recommend if you haven’t shopped a lot to visit my 10 favorite  stores to shop for wax, accessories, and beautiful home decor. These often have online sales and specials. I feel that these are rated well and you get the most for your money. Always look to see if an online store is offering coupons online. We accept coupons at Savin Exporting ONLY if they are listen on a particular website. Please do not try to use coupons such as retailmenot.com or other competitors. We cannot and will not accept these.

Lets talk fall scents…so many to choose from, so many to buy! Noting says a crisp fall day for me like Cozy Sweater by Yankee Candle. This is now rare and not at all easy to find so yes, I have hoarded a few myself. I recommend anything pumpkin scented. Village Candle offers a good one called Pumpkin Bread. One word to describe this,..DELICIOUS! Goose Creek offers my all time favorite Carrot Cake, Burlwood & Oak, Sugared Cinnamon Donut, and a new favorite, Staying Home. I happen to like this for the scents and the cat on the jar photo. So cute! Kringle, my all time favorite is Brandied Pumpkin and pumpkin Sage. Bath & Body Works has a variety of 3 wick candles that are out of this world! Sweet cinnamon pumpkin, pumpkin pecan waffles, sea salt and maple popcorn, and a new one that is a must try if you enjoy cinnamon…cinnamon pretzel twist!

I could go on forever, nonetheless, remember to check out my favs at the bottom of this article.

Did you know that there are a few  companies that really stands behind their products? This means that if you do not like them…take them back. One that really comes to mind is Yankee Candle offers a jar for a jar. Bath & Body says you should be happy guaranteed. How many candle companies really back their product and out their money where their mouth is?

Lets talk about the trip to the candle store for those of you who shop. Most of us go to a candle shop or a retail store looking for a product in particular. Often we aren’t sure where it is located. What do you do? You look for someone whose advice will direct you to making the best choice. I don’t know about you but I am most grateful for a second opinion.

How do you treat the help? Lets face it, often we go into a candle shop and are approached by a sales person who is there to assist you and your needs as to why you are there. I have seen customers get super offended that these nice salespeople seem pushy. Listen, they aren’t. They are doing their job. They get paid to service you and I truly feel that they do it well. I recommend Yankee Candle very high when it comes to accompanying a customers needs, so next time you walk into a store and growl at these salespeople or treat them like they are below you, and some of you certainly might,  remember that this is their job and if you don’t want to be approached, stay home and shop online because your attitude is insulting and disheartening to a store that is there to represent a good product line.

Should you choose stay home, or if you live somewhere that doesn’t have a store to shop at and one is located in the USA, email us with your order as we service worldwide customers and we offer you global shipping. We can shop for all of your essential needs and we are quite happy to do so.

Light a candle, enjoy the soothing aroma and take it all in…for Fall only comes once a year. Enjoy the vibrant fragrances.

Recently it was brought to my attention that customs is cracking down severely on product going into the UK from the USA. By this I simply mean that any items containing alcohol. We all do our best to follow the rules and adhere to the restrictions and regulations of the international boundaries, nonetheless there are some that will risk this and ship items anyway. It has been an iffy subject over the past several months. In my personal and professional opinion, with the amount that my clients spend on merchandise here in the USA,  I wouldn’t recommend buying the below mentioned bits if you live in the UK and having them shipped to you.

To those of you who are doing this, (buying from sellers in the US and shipping to the UK) do know that should customs randomly sort through your package(s) and they are doing this much more frequently, should during their search they happen to find  restricted merchandise being sent to the UK, primarily containing items with alcohol such as antibacs better known as hand sanitizers (pocketbacs) or fragrance mists, foaming hand soaps, some hand lotions, creams and some shower gels even. If you still choose to buy these items, it is your loss if they are stopped at customs

. Another no-no is room sprays or anything in a canister that is not made of plastics as these are combustible. With that being said, should you feel the need to take a risk and your package is searched, you lose your entire package! POOF! GONE. I don’t know about you but I am not willing to take the risk that as I pride myself on great customer service and having had my business for several years sending merchandise abroad, I would and have felt awful about such a thing happening. Most of my customers that buy from me have been with me for months, or even years and never had  had such an issue as I have this past week. Many packages were rejected with hundreds of dollars worth of merchandise inside of these packages. Unless you have full value on your entire contents of your package you lose. I don’t know about you but I don’t want to lose anything, nor should you. I will not be responsible for any losses either.

What areas are considered the UK? See the map below for more details. It really does sadden me to have to write this, nevertheless, I’ve been burned myself and I am allusive in the restrictions verbiage. From someone whose customers may lose here, please don’t take the risk. If you do and you are caught, your items are auctioned off at one of many customs hubs where employees there I have been told buy your goods for a lost cost.

My mission is and always has been to offer my clients the best customer service and with that being said my advice is to please always stay fluent with customs regulations and rules when shipping via eBay or any carrier for that matter to the UK or anywhere abroad. Alcohol is alcohol. That’s it… That’s my two cents. I am certainly not speaking poorly about the customs regulatory committee or their organization, I am only forwarding on to you the information I was given about this recent change. I am not an attorney but I do like to follow the laws and I would absolutely hate to see anyone lose monies for merchandise that you paid good hard earned cash for. It is not the responsibility of Savin Exporting to remind you (the customer/client) of policies or restrictions. Please keep up to date with customs restrictions and prohibited to send page as well as our website www.SavinExporting.com

I love my life and what I do, no doubt about it, nonetheless, there are some woes and I’ll explain more as I write this article. Personally, what makes my job so exciting is the amount of clients that I have around the globe and the amount of various items that they buy using me as their personal shopper every week, month, quarter, and or just a few times a year when they shop in bulk. I have had such an enormous outpour of followers on Instagram and I cannot thank those enough who have been so gracious  to tell family, friends and even complete strangers about my services as a personal shopper whether it be their classmate, roommate, brother, sister, cousin, mom, dad, aunt, uncle or spouse. I have clients that do testimonials and short videos telling others about their experiences with me and Savin Exporting

I take what I do very seriously as I shop for each and every customer as if I were shopping for myself. I built my website a few months back and remind people to review it as policies do change without notification. My shopper fees are 15% across the board except for twice a year and that is during any semi annual sales that stores may have both at their brick and mortar or online. I prefer doing all of my business online as my time is valuable and getting in a car and driving about takes more time and effort. It also sets me up for the things that people do not think about which are accidents during wet or dangerous seasons. Ice and snow are hazardous in my region and it only takes once to have this happen for anyone to not want to get in the car again for this exact reason.

Most of my customers disregard the increase shopper fees during any semi annual sales, or after holiday sales as they couldn’t get these bargains with anyone else at the ridiculously low prices offered on a website, and if they did, it is most likely because that personal shopper in the USA is not claiming taxes as a running business owner which then puts me in that shaded area where I end up losing. You see, here, I am up against those selling online that are working and selling for ‘fun money’ or so that they don’t have to work a real job and punch a time clock while their other half or significant does. That’s ok IF you are paying taxes. If a personal shopper doesn’t have an EIN number or a tax ID and is selling and making over $600 annually, they need to fill out a 1099 and most of them don’t. This is what hurts this aspect of my business and being a personal shopper. I have to pay taxes and so should they have to as well.

I don’t run a fly-by-night profession. I run my business on good ethics, morals and values and I expect my employees to do the same. I have children and want them to realize that mom worked hard to get where she is today and that when I get knocked down, I pick myself back up. I have always pushed myself to do more all while striving to shape/mold my kids as well as my coworkers into learning how to run a business themselves and how not to get bullied by those that don’t like change. Mentoring is my middle name. I want everyone to succeed as I have and I don’t want others to get discouraged when they fail. We all fail. We must in order to learn from past mistakes. When this happens in the line of work that I do, you’re either on board with me or you jump ship. I have had repeat customers for well over 6 years now and I get customers that are newbies. There are also those that leave and think that they’ve found someone less expensive and go with them,…until they get ripped off. Their anguish is saddening to say the least. Just ask a few of my customers that have left and come back, or new customers who have suffered worse with another personal shopper who promised them the moon and didn’t return calls, emails, texts as they will tell you that my costs don’t seem so high after all.

Look, I try to do everything possible and in the most professional manner to keep my overhead low and my costs lower. Do keep in mind that in the line of work that I do as a personal shopper, many men and women desire wax products but it does not stop there. I buy anything that can be shipped abroad such as clothing, goodies, foods, treats, collectibles, hobby items, and more.

So many things attribute to the costs that I imply. Paper supplies, the boxes that I have to purchase to ship, packing supplies such as the packaging containers, the employees, payroll, labels, stickers, etc. I also have to pay fees on any of the sites that I use at cost of 3-6% and credit card interest if inventory runs unpaid over 30 days.

At the end of the day, we work for you and with this being said, we do our very best in finding you the best prices even when you think you’ve found an item(s) for an already low value. In all honesty, it ain’t about the money. Yes, of course I like the benefits and financial rewards, nevertheless, I do it for my own personal love for sharing wax and wax products with others and I enjoy buying for customers abroad who cannot buy from America. This gives me great joy in helping them purchase their things on a ‘must have list’ that they’ve created. I also do this so that I can stay at home and work from an office and warehouse while at the same time rescuing kittens and small animals when nursing them back to health is their only source of survival and finding them loving homes is priority for me. Year to date I have saved, rescued and at times bottle fed 82 kittens until they were ready for good caring homes. At the end of the day, my job is glamorous indeed.

I hope that when people read this they’ll understand more as to why at times there need to be increases in fees, and why they should always read up on our website to keep informed of policy changes. Since 2004 I have been in business for myself as I have owned and been successful as the owner of an online travel store, a flower shop, a bridal store and intimate apparel boutique, and now my personal shopper business, Savin Exporting.

I urge you to check out your favorite websites to see if they are running semi annual sales and if they are, start making that list! If you have any questions at all, don’t hesitate to reach out to our staff or myself with questions or concerns here at Savin Exporting.

Are you a candle collector or a buyer? Are you a casual candle shopper or an avid one? Do you look at the candle label on the bottom of your jar? You’d be surprised how many people do not, BUT the numbers of people that do flip it over really out number those who do not.

Most of the time people think that yellow labels are not good. Many times people prefer only white labels, however, there is a difference with yellow labels but most often it is only that there is a slight imperfection with the jar. It could be the color of the wax, or even the scent might slightly vary. Most of the time is it not visible to the naked eye, unless you are a candle guru. Yellow labels are often deemed a ‘do not buy’ jar but I tend to find great deals on yellow labels and some real bargains at Yankee Candle Outlets.

There are American labels that are white labels and these are Deerfield labels. These are sold at Yankee Candle stores but are also shipped to the outlet stores when there is an abundant amount of overflow that the store could not sell before a new seasonal group of scents make their debut.

Deerfield also puts out exclusive jars throughout the year but these cannot be bought at a local YC store, oh no., these can only be bought at the Deerfield or Williamsburg’s Yankee Candle Stores and most of the time you must be there in person to buy them. You can often call the stores to place a phone order but you will need a USA address to ship them too. You should also know that shipping can get rather pricey depending on your purchase.

What are tan labels? Tan labels are generally on jars that are European specialty candles shipped to the US for distribution at outlet stores. This is not always the case though. These are the same quality of wax as the white labels but again, people freak out when they don’t see a white deerfield label. Isn’t it just nice to smell a fabulous aroma in your home or office and enjoy it? Most of the time if you did not look at the bottom of the jar, you wouldn’t know what color its label really was. Cool your jets folks, they still smell good. Stop being so picky! At Savin Exporting we pride ourselves in helping you select the perfect scents and candles. We want you to get the most bang for your buck!
